Products

As a manufacturing partner of Waxman Fibres, we are proud to say that we are unique in being able to state that all of our products are manufactured at our factory in Walsall, with the majority of fabrics being sourced wherever possible in the UK.
We carry various fabrics in stock at all times including ARC, RIS orange (Railway Industry approved), high visibility yellow, knitted, woven, waterproof, breathable, and fleece together with base fabric for underwear. FR/fire retardant and anti-static fabrics can also be supplied.
Our volume products which are made from our stock fabrics, consist of a standard range of waterproofs, trousers, shirts, coveralls, balaclavas, beanie hats, scarves, underwear etc. These products are available in high visibility RIS orange, high visibility yellow and navy blue. The total range of Waxman Fibre products are available to us including waterproof and laminated fabrics, and these can all be seam-sealed in our factory.
We work with distributors, many of whom have brand extensions with the notified body, and their customers to provide specifically designed garments which are required to be used within hazardous working conditions. Our standard garments can be tailored to meet customer specific requirements, which might simply mean adding an additional pocket or a completely new garment design.
The garments we produce are used by distributors during the contract tendering process with their customer, thus ensuring that the products that we produce are able to satisfy their customers’ stringent design specifications.
We have the facilities to embroider, print or heat-seal any customer branding that may be required.

LABELLING AND CERTIFICATION

The wash-care labels used in the garments that we produce are printed by ourselves (Label tested to IEC 61482-2:2018 Pto 5.5.2). Any labels provided by customers can also be inserted into the garments. Because we do not know who the end-user might be, the label has to state all of the certifications that the garment conforms to, thereby enabling any Safety Officer to make judgements as to whether that garment is suitable for the tasks the their employee is expected to perform. For further information relating to Certificates of Conformity, please see our Technical Data page.
